About the emulator

Not only does interactive TV present a wonderful opportunity to be much more creative in the delivery of long-form brand narratives, but with precise measurement tools such as Sky View, it also allows for great accountability.

It's hard to question the value of self-selecting brand advertising, but as an industry, however many times we may have pressed the red or green button, most of us have a complete picture of the sort of things brands and viewers are able to do via interactive TV. So we thought it would be good if people were able to interact for themselves through an online emulator. The idea is that you can use it to experience or demonstrate various types of interactive advertising that is currently available from wherever you are and whenever you want to do it.

We asked award winning interactive experts Weapon7 to build it for us, and then populated it with some great stuff from a variety of contributing agencies. Our thanks to everyone involved.

As of now, you can use it to explore the following campaigns:

  • Sharwoods (Green Button)
  • Harvey's & Coronation street (Satellite enhanced programming)
  • Adidas All Blacks (Sky Anytime)
